About Addo
So, who is Addo?
As simple as a short paragraph would be to summarize who Addo is. It wouldn't be that easy. From childhood Addo was a storyteller and could paint pictures with words. Some thought he would grow to become a politician, or maybe even a preacher; however, no one would've guessed he would become an artist. Molded from his upbringing in 90's hip-hop, and inspired by the power that music holds. Addo found a niche for writing and rapping - starting all the way in Kindergarten.
In elementary school, Addo would take his mothers first generation IPhone and download music recording apps. Most notiably recording apps with Lil Wayne instrumentals. Whilst Addo's mother would be endlessly searching for her phone, Addo would be in the yard rapping on top of the "A Milli" instrumental. Writing became his favorite past time, and that never changed. Consistently filling college ruled notebooks intended for school with whatever lyrics floated into his head. In late 2019, he began recording on "BandLab" and producing his own beats and remixes of other songs. Soon sparking a craving to record his own music.
Striving to be the inspiration to others, much like his favorite artists were to him, he continues to vocalize his message to reach every heart possible. Releasing his debut album "KING ALI" in 2021, which has since amassed 200k+ streams on Spotify. Soon followed the sister project "KING ALI: SUPERCUT" that has preformed just as successfully. In 2024, Addo released his brand new album "Addo" in early May. Addo's dream is to not only to be an inspiration to others, but to leave a lasting impression on those who listen to his music.
